Going since 2004, Manaia was established by a group of like minded Maori, based in London and wishing to take their culture to the world. Over the years many people have been part of Manaia and with their contribution Manaia has grown and developed into what it is today. Owned and operated by Karl and Kateia Burrows, Manaia pulls in skilled trainers, teachers and performers to provide the best in Maori cultural arts and knowledge and education this side of the world can offer. We share, teach and perform throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East. We have also performed as far away (from Europe that is) as Australia and this year we took a team to Colorado Springs, USA.
